PEN-International was well represented at the 14th World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf in Montreal Canada (19-26 July 2003). PEN team members presented two poster sessions and a formal paper session, and staffed a PEN-International display table in the Congress Exhibition Hall.

The paper session was attended by more than 250 Congress attendees. The poster session drew approximately 20 participants and the PEN-International display was visited by hundreds of Congress participants.
