Dr. Denise Kavin represented PEN-International at the 19th annual Educational Support Service Personnel conference, held May 6 - 7, 2005, in Rochester, New York. PEN exhibited at the conference. This conference is for educational providers who work with deaf and hard-of-hearing students in K-12 education, and postsecondary education, in the state of New York. Dr. T. Alan Hurwitz, RIT Vice President and Dean for NTID and Mr. Lindsay Dunn, Assistant to Dr. I. King Jordan, president of Gallaudet University, were the keynote speakers. More than 150 people from across New York State attended this conference.
