A delegation of 20 students, faculty and staff from Tsukuba College of Technology (Japan) and Tianjin Technical College for the Deaf of Tianjin University of Technology (China) participated in the second PEN-International Ambassador of Goodwill Program between 30 April and 12 May 2002. The delegation assembled in Japan and visited Mr. Y. Sasakawa, president of The Nippon Foundation, and conducted a study tour of Tsukuba College of Technology. The delegation then proceeded to the USA where the delegation visited NTID. The 12 Japanese and Chinese students and their 8 faculty leaders participated in cultural events, visited classes, and engaged in lively discussions with their colleagues.
