A cultural exchange visit by the RIT women's volleyball team to Tianjin University of Technology was arranged through PEN-International. While the exchange was sponsored primarily by RIT and TUT, it was also supported in part by PEN-International to highlight the mainstream nature of the squad- one of the team members is deaf. By all indications the exchange was a smashing success (see news article). The exchange will continue with the TUT women's volleyball team coming to RIT under the sponsorship of TUT and RIT.
