The professional book collection of Ms. Marjorie Jacobs, a deceased former professor of speech and hearing at NTID was donated to PEN-International by her husband Kenneth and family. The family asked that PEN make the collection available to a college or university outside of the USA that would find such speech and hearing materials useful. The collection was subsequently sent to PEN-International partner institution Tsukuba College of Technology. The collection has been cataloged and is now a part of the library collection of the college.
