PEN Visits Korea Nazarene University
On 12, 13 and 14 November, Director DeCaro of PEN-International visited Korea Nazarene University. The visit served to expand discussions regarding potential areas of collaboration between KNU and PEN-International.
This visit followed a prior study tour by KNU President Im to NTID in 2005.
The result of the meeting was an agreement to accomplish the following outcomes:
- Bring a faculty member of the KNU Department of Korean Sign Language Interpretation to NTID for a month in 2007 to intensively study the NTID American Sign language and Interpreter Education Program and
- Draft a sister institutions agreement for review by President Im and NTID CEO Hurwitz.
