A delegation from the Korea National College of Rehabilitation and Welfare held a one-day business meeting with PEN director DeCaro to discuss how KNCRW might collaborate with PEN in Korea. The delegation expressed a strong interest in jooining with PEN in a collaborative effort to improve postsecondary education for people who are deaf in Korea. DeCaro suggested that he visit KNCRW on his next trip to Korea and discuss how the current PEN affiliates in Korea ( Korea Nazarean University, Korea Employment Promotion Agency for the Disabled) and KNCRW could form a partnership. The delegation was receptive to this suggestion and a meeting will be arranged in Korea in Spring 2008 to initiate this effort.
