On 15-17 December, as part of their visit to the USA, a delegation from Beijing Union University (BUU) visited PEN-International headquarters to discuss future plans for collaboration in China. BUU promises to play a more important role as PEN-China continues to expand. The delegation consisted of: Professor Xu, the newly appointed chair of the University Affairs Committee; Professor Zhang, director of the Office of the President; and, Professor Wu, deputy dean for International Studies. In addition to discussing future plans, the delegation also reviewed advances in the utilization of technology to serve students who are deaf at RIT.
