PEN-International, supported by a grant to NTID from The Nippon Foundation of Japan, published a report describing the accomplishments of the international network of postsecondary colleges and universities that serve deaf students. The report describes efforts in Japan, China, Russia, Philippines, Thailand and the Czech Republic, that occurred from 1 March 2003 through 29 February 2004. The efforts in the areas of faculty development and training, expansion in China, Russia and the Philippines, cultural exchanges of faculty and students, use of videoconferencing technology are summarized.
