Mr. Paul Seidel and Mr. John Macko visited the College of St. Benilde as PEN-International consultants, offering employment-related seminars to the students and faculty of the college. During the week of 19 January 2004, Seidel and Macko conducted employment symposia for the first, second, third, and fourth-year deaf students of CSB. In addition, they conducted an in-depth training session with the faculty of CSB as regards employment acquisition, and career maintenance and enhancement.

They also spent time with employers, meeting with the Manila Rotary Club and visiting IBM Philippines. Finally, John and Paul participated in an official signing ceremony with the Philippine Printing Technical Foundation that will result in the creation of internships and employment opportunities for deaf students.

These seminars, workshops, and visits were a followup to the training that occurred at NTID in September 2003.
