On 4 June 2007, RIT Vice President Hurwitz and NTID's PEN-International Director DeCaro presented unscripted keynote addresses at the Novosibirsk International Seminar on Deafness at Novosibirsk State Technical University. Dr. Hurwitz presented to the assembled audience of 200 plus educators from across Siberia and from other countries regarding the educational program of NTID at RIT. Dr. DeCaro discussed the current state of affairs as regards PEN-International. (See the program brochure)
