Intensive training was provided to a delegation of seven faculty members from Tianjin Technical College for the Deaf of Tianjin University of Technology the week of 25 June 2001. The faculty were trained to use educational and information technologies to educate students who are deaf. Upon returning to Tianjin, the faculty put their newly acquired skills to work developing courseware for their classes.
