On Thursday, April 10th, 2008, Denise Kavin presented on "Transition of Deaf Students Entering Postsecondary Education" to approximately 30 graduate students in Dr. Gerry Buckley's Master of Science in Secondary Education course, "Political and Legal Environments in Deaf Education". During this presentation, she covered trends in postsecondary education of deaf students, various legislation affecting postsecondary education and transition of such students, transition issues, programming and resources.
