Where can faculty/staff learn ASL on RIT campus?
The Faculty and Staff Sign Language Education Program (FSSLEP) offers a wide array of formal and informal sign language learning opportunities for NTID and RIT faculty and staff. The FSSLEP web site provides course descriptions and schedules. The program also offers ASL Group Instruction (AGI), which provides customized ASL training to meet the needs of your specialized environment.
The RIT Office of the Provost sponsors an annual Provost Summer Intensive American Sign Language and Deaf Culture Experience for selected RIT faculty/staff. This program provides an intensive three-week immersion program during the month of June.
