A message from The RIT Graduate School
Welcome, Tigers!
We are excited to welcome you to campus this fall! The RIT Graduate School and your departments have been working diligently to build an Orientation program that will help you successfully launch your RIT experience. We understand you will have a lot of questions, and maybe even some concerns, but we want you to know that we are here to support you through this transition.
Even before you arrive on campus, a series of webinars will help prepare you for your arrival at RIT, and we strongly encourage you to attend. You can find dates and times of upcoming webinars in your RIT Admissions Portal. During the in-person Orientation in August you’ll be connected with resources, meet staff and faculty who will support you throughout your RIT career, and meet and mingle with other new and current graduate students.
As you prepare for your arrival on campus, be sure to check the Orientation website frequently. The website serves as a central information hub, containing your New Student Checklist, links to past communications, a calendar of events to engage in over the summer, a link to an optional virtual orientation experience, and much more!
In the meantime, we want you to know your admissions counselors and The RIT Graduate School cares deeply about your concerns and your questions. Feel free to contact us at gradinfo@rit.edu if you have remaining questions over the next couple of months. We are so excited to welcome you to RIT, and happy that you are joining our Tiger family.
