Course Schedules

Many of our new graduate students register for classes during RIT Orientation (August 15 – 19). If your department helped register you over the summer, you can view your schedule in the student information system (SIS). To access SIS, go to sis.rit.edu and click the ‘Student Info System’ link. Enter your RIT username and password. When your schedule becomes available, you can click on the ‘Enroll and Search’ tile in SIS. Then select ‘View My Classes’ to view your course schedule.

You will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your schedule in greater detail during your in-person Orientation experience.

SIS is also where you can view other key academic information and manage university-related activities.

Ordering Course Materials

RIT has partnered with virtual bookstore company, Akademos, as our primary provider of course materials and supplies. Purchasing textbooks and other materials can be done completely online and materials will be shipped directly to you. It is recommended to ship books to your home two-weeks prior to coming to campus, otherwise, ship books to your campus mailing address.
