Beginning in 2008, the Imagine RIT Innovation + Creativity Festival annually attracts thousands to the Rochester Institute of Technology campus where they see, learn, and interact with hundreds of exhibitions and demonstrations created by the Institute’s students, faculty, and staff. Overview

The Festival billboards innovation, one of our country’s most competitive and strategic advantages, by showing what can be accomplished when smart, talented people with diverse strengths work together to solve complex societal problems. Imagine this pulls back the curtain and in six chapters and more than 150 photographs, reveals the Festival’s initiation, development, and maturation during its first decade.

Bruce A. Austin is Director of RIT Press. 
Heather Cottone is Manager of Special Projects in RIT’s Office of the President and Chairperson of Imagine RIT’s Program and Logistics Committee. 
Barry Culhane is Executive Assistant to the President of RIT and has been Imagine RIT’s Chairman since the Festival began. 
Bill Destler, RIT’s ninth president, was first to imagine Imagine RIT. 
Bob Finnerty is RIT’s Chief Communications Officer and served as the Chair of Marketing and Public Relations for Imagine RIT since its inception. 
Andrew Quagliata was Manager for Special Projects in RIT’s Office of the President for the first four Imagine RIT Festivals; currently, he is a Management Communication Lecturer at Cornell University. 
Jeff Spevak is a longtime entertainment writer in Rochester, New York. 
A. Sue Weisler is Director of Photography for RIT’s University News Services.
