The Manufacturing Grants are designed to encourage collaboration between companies and non-profit organizations in New York State that work with the manufacturing industry. Applicants must partner with a New York State small and medium sized manufacturer (less than 500 employees), or early stage company with a project relevant to the manufacturing sector.
Funding will be used by the applicant to assist companies with the following types of projects:
- Adoption on new technology to enhance a process and/or product
- Prototype development
- Design for manufacturing
- Proof-of-concept manufacturing
- Manufacturing scale-up
- Manufacturing-related equipment purchases
- Other projects to advance manufacturing or manufacturing capabilities
Applicants may apply for up to $50,000. Cost sharing may be required. More information about the program including application guidelines is available at https://fuzehub.com/manufacturing-grants/
Limit: RIT may submit up to three applications, provided each is from a different center or department. Interested applicants should provide a brief description of their intended project and an overview of their budget to Laura Kleiman at email@example.com by 5:00 pm on April 20, 2018.
Deadline: The application window will be open from May 1 through May 31.
