Nabil Nasr, associate provost and director of the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, served as an expert participant in Michelin’s inaugural Movin’On Summit, an international conference on sustainable mobility held in Montreal, Canada. Nasr took part in the June 5 working session on “Sourcing Eco-Circularity: The hunt for collaborative partnerships for sustainable material scale-up.”
Yunn-Shan Ma, assistant professor and director of RIT Philharmonic Orchestra, received an honorable mention for the 2019 Respighi Prize in Conducting from the Chamber Orchestra of New York on June 6.

RIT China celebrated its first commencement ceremony on June 23, honoring 103 graduates. Courses are jointly offered by Saunders College of Business and the Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) School of Economics and Management, allowing students to earn a dual degree from RIT and BJTU.
