As Head of the School of Chemistry & Material Science (SCMS) at RIT, my primary administrative functions are to work with faculty members, to oversee student life in SCMS, to represent SCMS in person and in print, and to provide leadership and vision to our academic unit. In addition to administration, I have an active research group where we use computational and wet lab methods to predict the functions of proteins, and I teach one course a year. In the fall semester of the 2015-2016 academic year, I taught Chemistry Connections to our incoming first year students. In previous years, I have also taught a biochemistry course to Physicians Assistant students at RIT.
I am normally in my office about half of the time and in meetings the other half of the time. If you would like an appointment, please contact me at email@example.com or on my office phone (585-475-6145).
When you contact me to arrange a meeting, please pick 3 - 5 open time slots from this schedule that work for you and include them in your email. I suggest that when you email me, you cc Autumn Madden (firstname.lastname@example.org) in your email, as she handles many of my appointments now.
