Information Security Council
The Information Security Council is the body responsible for the creation, approval, and implementation of Information Security Standards at RIT
The Information Security Council (ISC)
- Participates in the Information Security Standards process at RIT
- Partners on Information Security Office initiatives
- Advocates for organizational needs; ensures Information Security Office strategic plan comprehends their organizational needs
- Meets 3-4 times per year
- Ensures appropriate representation on core teams for standards development
The ISC membership includes
- At least one technical representative from each College, Division, or operating unit that operates and maintains their own IT organization/infrastructure
- At least one senior manager from each College, Division, or operating unit that operates and maintains their own IT organization/infrastructure
