Maja Matković: Croatian Hospitality

Published Sep. 14, 2011

Maja Matković has aspirations of running a shop in an historic European city. She’s learned how to create a business plan and has studied how to work with banks that work with small businesses. She is learning creative ways to manage and market small businesses, restaurants, hotels, big companies and international corporations.

Maja’s experience at the American College of Management and Technology in Dubrovnik, Croatia, is just one of many stories where RIT students gain global experience.

RIT/ACMT now offers two exciting locations where you can earn your degree. Students may choose between Dubrovnik, a beautiful coastal city located on the Adriatic Sea, or Zagreb, the capital city and center of business in Croatia.

On the Dubrovnik campus, students can immerse themselves in their studies while gaining valuable experience in a beautiful city that’s a destination for tourism and travel. The experience allows students to enjoy a diverse and international student body as they participate in clubs and organizations in an exciting university center. Programs of study include information technology and service management.

In Zagreb, students have access to cooperative education experiences in a city that’s a hub of business and technology. They can immediately apply the skills they are learning in the classroom with real world opportunities in this industrial capital city. Programs of student include information technology and international business.
