Global Reflections during the Holiday Season

Published Dec. 8, 2010

2010 was a momentous year for RIT! The university marked success in many areas including enrollment, research, athletics and community service projects. New facilities and programs have enhanced both the physical landscape of the campus and the opportunities available to students.

Enrollment hit an all-time high with a combined 17,200 students at the Rochester campus and RIT’s satellite campuses around the world. RIT continues to expand its global relationships with Kosovo, Dubai, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, Turkey, China, India and South America.

RIT’s mascot, Ritchie, traveled the globe to ask RIT students to reflect on their accomplishments in 2010 and their wishes for the new year. We hope you enjoy their video messages.

What’s in store for 2011? With RIT’s pool of talented students, faculty and staff, anything is possible. From the entire RIT family, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy 2011!
