The College Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization that serves as RIT’s premier organization for event planning and campus programming. The mission of CAB is to provide a diverse and unique assortment of events to entertain and engage students outside of the classroom. CAB prides itself on creating, planning, and executing quality events in collaboration with campus partners for the RIT community.
What’s happening on campus? If you’re looking for something to do around campus, this division’s got it covered! The A Cappella Showcase, Swing the Night Away, Shine Bright Like a Pumpkin, Escape Room on-campus and many more unique events right on your doorstep!
Recreation and Travel
Where are we going? If you’re thinking about exploring the Greater Rochester Area and beyond, look no further. There are trips to the zoo, museums, Niagara Falls, skiing lodges, and many more fun and unique locations to explore with this division!
When is it starting? Thursday Night Cinema is no more! Why limit ourselves to one day of the week when we could choose whichever we want? Fantastic movies that are free to the public and often offering giveaways playing on whichever day of the week that works best!
Who’s coming to RIT? Large annual events that feature popular and nationally recognized names on campus as well as other annual large events. This committee also plays a key role in organizing large festivals like SpringFest.
Class of 2018 Event
Are you graduating? Events for any graduating seniors or students with fourth year status or higher to attend. These events range from brewery tours and winery tours off campus to cap decorating and trivia night. It also includes all of the larger events like Senior Night and Senior Week, so soon-to-be graduates, stay informed!
