Concerned About a Student

The Tiger Concern Report may be used to share concerns about an RIT student’s behavior or health with the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/Chair of the Student Behavior Consultation Team (SBCT). Expressing concern shortly after an issue is raised or incident has occurred can help with early intervention and success.

When completing this form, please be as thorough, specific and objective, as possible. Tell us why you are concerned about the student. For example, share with us what you have witnessed and/or heard that has made you concerned. Please feel free to include alternate contact information for you, such as a cell phone number or alternate email address. Make sure to include the student’s name, as well as any other information that could assist us in identifying the person you are concerned about.

Tiger Concern Reports will be reviewed throughout the day, during regular business hours. The Associate Vice President/Chair of SBCT will acknowledge your concern when it is received via email. We may contact you for additional information. If you have questions or concerns at any time, contact the Associate Vice President/Chair of SBCT’s office at 585-475-3963.

If you feel that a student or others could be in immediate danger, including yourself, please contact RIT Public Safety immediately at 585-475-3333 or call 911.

Thank you for sharing your concern!
