Disability Services Office Update (Coronavirus):

To protect the safety of our staff, students, and faculty, the Disability Services Office staff are working remotely and will not be in the office until further notice. We will be available virtually each weekday between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Please contact the office at dso@rit.edu or reach out directly to a member of our staff.

Overview

The Disability Services Office (DSO) is dedicated to facilitating equitable access to the full RIT experience for students with disabilities. We value disability as diversity and work in colleboration with campus partners to foster a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive campus community. All enrolled RIT students with disabilities may register with the DSO and request accommodations. We are guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which protect individuals with disabilities from discrimination. 

Our office is located on the first floor of the Student Alumni Union, in Room 1150 in the RITreat area.   Here is a map.  We look forward to working with you.
