Being in a fraternity gives each brother the opportunity to make an impact on the world around them and their local community.

Philanthropy and community service are very important to each fraternity on campus. Each chapter on campus has a national philanthropy or non-profit organization that they support and some also support local organizations. In order to raise money and awareness, Greeks on campus hand out flyers, organize tournaments, put on shows, put up posters, throw dances and coordinate with other organizations to make each as successful as possible. Many hours of community service are completed as well by serving at food banks, animal shelters, blood drives, volunteering at events and becoming mentors.
