The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Rochester Institute of Technology was started in 2012. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members.

Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement. As of 2021 we have 2,535 members who have access to:


Building leaders who make a better world. The Society is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and a community where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.


Membership is open to RIT undergraduate and graduate students with a 2.7 gpa.
