Orientation Leadership Team
Our Orientation Leadership Team committee members are current RIT students who work with us year-round to assist in the coordination and implementation of activities and events related to New Student Orientation and the leadership development and training for our student staff. Typically, the committee members have previous experience serving on the Orientation Team, but new applicants are also welcome to apply.

Orientation Supervisors provide leadership and supervision to a team of Orientation Leaders. Supervisors serve as role models during Orientation Leader training and New Student Orientation programs. Typically, we select 18 Supervisors.
Orientation Program Assistants (OPAs) play a key role in ensuring smooth operations of various processes that contribute to the productivity and efficiency of New Student Orientation. OPAs help to manage the New Student Orientation office during New Student Orientation as well as handle many administrative tasks.
Orientation Leaders (OLs) are responsible for facilitating the transition of a group of first year and transfers students representing multiple programs from across the university during New Student Orientation. Recruitment for OLs begins March 1, 2017 and runs through March 9, 2017. In order to apply, you must attend one of the following information sessions where you will learn more about the position, responsibilities, and application process.
