Local Religious Communities

We know that we cannot serve the needs of all students on campus given the religious and spiritual diversity of the RIT community. We also know that many students will simply prefer to be part of a local religious community either in addition to or instead of one of our on campus communities. We support you to practice your religious/spiritual tradition in your own way. Please browse the communities listed below. If you do not find what you are looking for here, please let us know by emailing srl@rit.edu. Please also email us if you think a local religious community should be added to the list.

Local Religious Ambassadors

It can sometimes be a little scary to walk into a new religious community on your own. That's why we created the Ambassadors program. RIT faculty and staff who are active in their local religious communities have volunteered to partner with students who want to visit their church, temple, synagogue, etc. They are happy to show you around and introduce you to people. They'll also help you figure out transportation and answer your questions. You don't have to go alone! We're here for you.
