    The RIT Girls Lacrosse Summer Camp is designed to teach, motivate and cultivate a passion for the game of lacrosse. Our goal is for each player to walk away with improved skills, new skills and more confidence playing the game of lacrosse. Our camp is open to those entering 3rd-8th grade. Please bring swim gear as this year the pool will be open. All skill levels and positions are welcome!

    RIT Women’s Lacrosse Summer Camp Itinerary

    Time: 9am-4pm

     

    Monday, July 24th

    8:30am to 9am- Check in

    9am to 12pm- Skills

    12pm to 1pm- Lunch

    1pm to 2:30pm- Skills

    2:30pm to 4pm- Pool time

    4pm- Pick Up

     

    Tuesday, July 25th

    8:30am to 9am- Check in

    9am to 12pm- Skills

    12pm to 1pm- Lunch

    1pm to 2:30pm- Skills

    2:30pm to 4pm- Pool time

    4pm- Pick Up

     

    Wednesday, July 26th

    8:30am to 9am- Check in

    Cost: $275 *will include lunch on Monday July 24th and Tuesday July 25th

    Below is what we will need each camper to bring:

    Stick

    Goggles/Helmet

    Mouth guard

    Water bottle

    Cleats or sneakers

    Bathing suit

    Towel

    Snacks (optional)

    Sunscreen (optional)

    For Goalies:

    Stick

    Mouth guard

    Helmet

    Chest protector

     

    Pickup Policy

     

    To track all drop-offs and pickups of children, parents/guardians are required to sign children in/out on the daily attendance sheet. Staff are not permitted to sign these sheets on behalf of parents/guardians.

     

    Generally, persons picking up children must be at least 18 years of age and bring a valid photo identification. In exceptional circumstances, and only with the parent/guardian’s written consent, a younger individual may be permitted to pick up a child.


    Refund PolicyFull refunds will be given only to those who request them before June 8th. Any refunds requested after June 24th will require a doctor's note and is at the discretion of the camp director.  (Please allow up to 3 weeks after the conclusion of camp for processing.)

    Erin Wagner

    Erin begins her fifth season as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach in 2022-23. Last season she led RIT to five wins, including three in the highly competitive Liberty League.

    Prior to RIT, Wagner was an assistant coach at St. John. Fisher from 2018-19, helping the Cardinals to the 2019 Empire 8 title and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. She was an assistant at Ithaca from 2015-2018 and at Brockport from 2013-15.

    Wagner is a 2011 graduate of Div. II Limestone College. A three-time IWLCA 2nd Team All-American, she was voted team captain in 2010 and 2011 and was a member of four straight NCAA Division II Tournament appearances, including the 2011 National Championship game.

    Wagner graduated from Limestone with a Bachelor of Science in business marketing in 2011 and earned a Master's in physical education from Brockport in 2015.
    Mackenzie King joined the women's lacrosse staff prior to the 2023 season after spending the last two seasons in the same role at Brockport, while also serving as an intern to the Director of Athletics. Also the head coach of the 3D Common Goal Lacrosse Club in Rochester, King graduated from Potsdam in 2019 with a degree in business administration and is currently working towards a master's in education at Brockport.

     Mackenzie King

    King joins the RIT women’s lacrosse staff in August of 2022 after spending the entire 2021-2022 season in the same role at Brockport, while coaching she also served as an intern to the Director of Athletics and completed her master’s degree. King, local graduate of Brighton High School (2015), graduated from Potsdam in 2019 with her undergraduate degree in business administration and communications; she was a four-year defender for the Bears during her collegiate career.
