Men's Tournament Rules: Ages 18+
The men's division's will use NCAA rules with some exceptions. (KNOW THE RULES)
1) there will be NO 2-minute stalling rule in the 2nd Half period; There is a 30 second clearing rule into the offensive restraining box.
2) all substitution will be on the fly other than when a goal is scored or a served time penalty is assessed;
3) all substitutions must go through the designated substitution box;
4) no team will be allowed more than 4 long sticks on the field at any time;
5) all players will be expected to have appropriate equipment including sticks, helmets, chin straps, and satisfactory gloves in accordance with NCAA standards;6) each team will be permitted one(1) 2 minute time-out per half and none(0) during any sudden death period;
7) sudden victory overtime will follow the completion of a tied game after a 2 minute break; sudden victory periods will be 5 minutes of running time; goals defended will remain the same for the first sudden death period;
8) teams will be assessed a delay of game penalty if not ready to begin play at the scheduled time; teams are responsible for being ready to play at the scheduled time for each game; games may be shortened at the discretion of the organizers to keep game times on schedule;
9) each player is required to wear a team colored top and have reversible or second colored top;
10) play will be started immediately as soon as a player on the team awarded the ball has the ball in his possession; this will be excepted when a goalie has pursued a shot to the end or side line in which case the goalie will be given 5 seconds to return to the crease;
11) the alternate possession rule will be used;
12) blood/bleeding situations will follow NCAA guidelines;
13) All Teams Must Submit their Entry Fee before the Tournament. ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE TO PARTICIPATE.
14) NO JUMPING FROM TEAM TO TEAM OR THE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
15) OFFICIALS HAVE FINAL SAY ON ALL CALLS, DO NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL TO THE OFFICIALS!!
