Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) coordinates and manages these services for students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the RIT community.
Parking regulations require that all vehicles operated on campus by students, faculty, and staff must be registered upon arrival to campus. Online registration makes the process fast and easy. You do not need to be the owner of a vehicle to register it. Use your RIT Computer Account username and password to register your vehicle online at rit.edu/parking.
Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) provides shuttle service with regular scheduled stops at all RIT apartment complexes, Residence Halls, NTID, Barnes & Noble, Park Point, The Province, and academic areas throughout the school year.
Schedules are subject to change and updated as needed. All services provided on campus meet ADA regulations for those with mobility needs.
RIT Student Government also sponsors buses to the airport, bus terminal, and Amtrak station during academic breaks.
Parking and Transportation Services coordinates and manages transportation services offered to students, faculty, staff and visitors of the RIT community. A strong emphasis has been placed on providing alternative transportation programs and facilities. These include transit services (bus/shuttle system), bicycle facilities and amenities, ridesharing program, and motorcycle accommodations. These new initiatives are part of an effort to introduce Travel Demand Management (TDM) techniques to our community. TDM refers to a set of policies and programs intended to reduce the number of vehicles traveling to- and parking on- the campus during peak periods. TDM strategies can result in significant benefits to the RIT community with everyone's participation.
