Services offered by the RIT Student Health Center are available to all students.  All students enrolled in 9 or more credits hours are charged a mandatory Health Fee each semester. Students enrolled in less than 9 credits and those on co-op are not billed automatically but may choose to pay the semester fee or a fee for service at each visit.

The health fee covers office visits and many of the basic services students may need. There are additional charges, payable at the time of the visit, for immunizations, some supplies (i.e. crutches, splints), certain in-house laboratory tests and prescription medications purchased within the Health Center.

The Student Health Center accepts payment in the form of cash, check, TigerBucks, Visa and MasterCard.

The Student Health Center does not bill insurance companies directly for services provided. Students may obtain a receipt which can be submitted to their insurance company to request reimbursement.
