Malmo, Sweden

Learn state-of-the-practice software, Revit, used by architects, engineers, and interior designers to create 3D building designs in the Scandinavia region of Northern Europe.

  • Study for three weeks at Malmo University while exploring the city of Malmo, which has a wide variety of architectural styles, both old and new.
  • While in Malmo, you'll tour two sustainable urban neighborhoods, visit the Scandinavian Green Roof Institute, and take a city tour of Malmo's architecture.
  • Classroom work in Sweden takes place Monday through Thursday - have weekends free for independent sightseeing and travel.

Course Details:
CET-ENGT 518 - Global Engineering Experience: REVIT in Sweden
Revit software is used by professionals to design, build, and manage a variety of commercial and residential buildings. In this course, you will combine Revit capabilities with Malmo architectural styles to design a bistro with two upper apartments. You will be enrolled in the class at RIT during the spring semester and travel to Sweden in early summer.

Open to all undergraduate majors (3rd year and above) and graduate majors. No prior Revit software experience is required, no pre-requisites. No language requirements - program taught in English.
