EARTH DAY! Sunday 4/22

Sustain IT - Sustainable Fashion Show

1-4pm  Sustainability Institute Hall

Sustain It is a sustainable fashion show, doubling as a fundraiser featuring raffles, food, and local artisans! Proceeds will be going to local charities. Fashion Show will begin at 1:30 and "True Cost" documentary showing will begin at 2:30.

Monday 4/23

Wasted! The Story of Food Waste screening and panel discussion

5pm-7:30pm  GCCIS Auditorium (70-1400)

WASTED! THE STORY OF FOOD WASTE aims to change the way people buy, cook, recycle and eat food. After the film there will be a panel discussion.

Tuesday 4/24

Seed Swap

 1pm - 2pm  Alumni Room (1500) SAU

Spring is here and it is almost time to start planting. Share seeds that you have saved from last year with other gardening enthusiasts! Bring your seeds in containers that can be opened so people can take what they want and not more. Bring small containers (envelopes, pill bottles, etc.) to take seeds away in.


Wednesday 4/25

SEAL's Annual E-Recycling Event

8am-2pm  Sentinel

They will collect any broken and unused electronics to ensure they are recycled responsibly with E-Waste+. Most items will be accepted free of charge, except CRT TVs and monitors, which cost a fee to recycle.


Thursday 4/26

Wall-E movie night with CAB

9pm - 11pm Ingle Auditorium

SEAL is teaming up with the College Activities Board to celebrate Earth Week with a showing of Pixar's Wall-E. They will be hosting an educational table with fun, and sustainable, activities!


Friday 4/27

Sustainable Carnival

10am - 4pm Greek Lawn

Join SEAL for their annual sustainable carnival complete with free food, lawn games, crafts, prizes, educational tables and an open mic!
