Nasr presents at United Nations panel meeting

Nabil Nasr, associate provost and founding director of the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, delivered a Nov. 7 presentation on “Resource Efficiency and Innovation in the Circular Economy Through the Advancement of Remanufacturing” during the 25th meeting of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) International Resource Panel (IRP) and its steering committee in Bled, Slovenia. Nasr’s latest initiative was the result of a request from the Group of Seven (G7) nations and expanded on his groundbreaking report released last October at the World Circular Economy Forum in Yokohama, Japan.
