We
prepared for our presentation. We prepared well and often joke about
the quality of presentation and dancing. We went to the formal lunch
at the Dining Commons. Dr. James deCaro and Dean Hurwitz gave us
certicates. It was nice and beautiful. I appreciate them. After
lunch, we presented our lecture to the audience at LBJ 1510. I was
comfortable and not afraid while I was lecturing. We felt brave
and expressed fully while we dance: the harvest dance, courting
dance and "Agila", which delighted the audience. It made
them very inspired and appreciative. After our presentation, they
told us that we were very good and looked very beautiful. They were
fascinated by our cultural dance. We were very proud and cheered
for ourselves and we said, "Thank you so much
".
Asian Deaf Club invited us to come to ethnic fair and we had free
food. I saw different foods from Asia. I interacted with the students.
We went to a seminar about "Education and Experience".
We were curious about it. We learned and became more aware about
the Deaf man who encouraged us to learn our values. It was very
important for us to bring to our lives success.
