Saunders College of Business invites top faculty nationwide to present cutting-edge research, industry trends, and business strategies as part of the Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series. Open to graduate students and faculty. Professor Jason Thatcher, Ph.D., holds the Tandean Rustandy Esteemed Professorship at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder, is senior editor for Information Systems Research and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and a professor of management information systems at Temple University | Fox School of Business.

Demo Night

When: April 24, 2024, 6:00pm
Where: James E. Gleason, Gordon Atrium

Join us to celebrate our 21st cohort of incredible student entrepreneurs that have pushed forward and built their startups this spring.

Demo Night is the culmination of our full-time Student Accelerator program, where teams pitch and showcase their startups. Students developed their ideas over the spring semester and now will be pitching their businesses. 

The pitch portion of Demo Night will be live in the Simone Center and also streamed on Zoom (see the registration link below for more info). After the pitches, teams will be demoing their product and showcasing their company.

Imaging science professor continues legacy of his mentors

Carl Salvaggio ’87 BS/MS (imaging science) had no plans to pursue teaching when he left his hometown in New Jersey for Rochester in the 1980s. He enrolled as a biomedical photography major at RIT because of his passion for photography and the recommendation of a high school teacher he admired.

By introducing a new paradigm for studying landslide shapes and failure types, a global team of researchers has provided help for those who work to predict landslides and risk evaluations.

RIT graduate programs ranked among best in nation by ‘U.S. News & World Report’

Graduate degree programs at Rochester Institute of Technology were named among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report.

In the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools 2024, RIT’s Saunders College of Businesstied for 97th as one of the top full-time MBA programs.

Take Part in Imagine RIT

This Creativity and Innovation Festival is a campus-wide event that showcases the creative and innovative spirit of RIT students, faculty, and staff. Imagine RIT runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Use our Imagine RIT map to view exhibits, add them to your itinerary, and navigate around campus. The best place to start after parking is finding a welcome center. The volunteers at our info booths are also a great resource!
