APS-SPS-SOPA Outreach

In collaboration with SPS and SOPA, we will be visiting third grade classes at the Manor Intermediate School in Honeoye to do fun demos about magnetism, supplementing the curriculum, on February 28 and March 1 from 9-10:30 am. Regardless of whether physics is your core area of interest, we'd be happy to add your individual perspective to our team! We're also incorporating art and biology, through coloring and discussing animals that navigate via the Earth's magnetic field, as well as engineering through electromagnets and motors.
