Watch RIT Doctoral Students Compete by Explaining Their Research in 3 Minutes!

BE PART OF THE COMPETITION WITH THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE
An essential aspect of the competition is the People’s Choice prize. After all presentations, the audience is asked to vote for the person they believe gave the most convincing 3MT presentation (based on their understanding of the criteria below).

Into the ROC: Friends of Washington Grove

When: November 8, 2025, 9 am – 1 pm

Volunteer with the Friends of Washington Grove as we work to remove invasive species and perform basic trail maintenance in Rochester's old growth forest! You will be given the opportunity to tour the area with a guide before trail maintenance begins.

Free transportation will be provided. The bus will depart from the Sentinel Statue promptly at 9am!

My name is Shahzeb Jadoon, but my friends call me Shazzy! I'm a second-year master’s student in Computer Engineering, and I’m originally from Lahore, Pakistan. Before coming to RIT, I did my undergrad in Computer Science and Actuarial Science at Wartburg College in the small but wonderful town of Waverly, Iowa.
