What's Happening in Wellness?

Stop the Spread of Germs

County wastewater and Student Health Center visits confirm that COVID-19 cases are increasing, and cold and flu season is right around the corner. Help stop the spread of germs and keep yourself and our RIT community healthy:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water
  • Cover your mouth and nose with tissues when you cough or sneeze
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Stay away from others as much as possible when you are sick
  • Avoid or minimize contact with sick people
  • Wear a mask (KN94, N95 preferred), especially when you are ill
  • Get your fall flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine when eligible

Did you hear the joke about the germ?
Nevermind, I don’t want to spread it around!

Handwashing is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of germs that may lead to sickness. Remember to wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Don’t forget to cleanse your wrists and under your fingernails, too.
