What's Happening in Wellness?

Wellness is a key aspect of student life here at RIT.

While your academics will take up a lot of your time and energy, it’s important to prioritize your physical and mental health, too. Along with wellness services, getting active in recreational activities and social events can boost your energy, motivation levels, and overall well-being. Take care of yourselves, Tigers!

What is Resiliency?

Like how vaccinations make us physically resilient to various diseases, you can also be mentally resilient!

Resiliency is the ability to adapt in the face of adversity, according to the American Psychological Association. It does not mean you will never feel distressed again, but instead, you will be better equipped to handle life’s obstacles and challenges.

Becoming resilient takes time and practice, but there are various little activities you can do to start building resiliency, such as taking care of yourself, staying connected with friends, and being able to ask for help when you need it!
