About

Dr. Rouba Borghol is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai. She received a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Claude Bernard II, Lyon and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Tours in France in December 2005.

Dr. Rouba was employed by the College of Applied Science and Dhofar University as an Assistant Professor for the academic years 2010-2013. She was also employed by the Lebanese University- Lebanon as an Assistant Professor for the academic year 2008-2009 and as a lecturer at the University of Tours in France during 2005-2007.  She was a research fellow at the polytechnic school of Palaiseau in France in 2008. Throughout her fifteen years in academia, she has taught several courses and topics such as pure mathematics and applied mathematics courses for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
