Your RIT journey officially kicks off next month, and we know you're probably buzzing with excitement (and maybe a few questions!). This week let’s focus on getting you ready for Welcome Days and Orientation.

Welcome Days
Monday, Aug. 17, and Tuesday, Aug. 18

Monday, August 17 is the primary Welcome Day and includes move‑in, Orientation check‑in, and a variety of activities, including a resource fair, designed to help you get settled. Limited programming is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18.

If you registered for Transfer Program #1, you are encouraged to participate in Welcome Days programming on Monday, August 17. Attendance is not required.

If you registered for Transfer Program #2, you must check in for Orientation on Monday, August 17. Orientation check-in is located in the Gordon Field House & Activities Center, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once you’ve checked in, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in Welcome Days programming before officially kicking off Orientation at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Family members or friends joining you on campus are encouraged to sign up, too.
