You can discover your future roommate, chat with admissions counselors, and get a real feel for campus life before you even arrive.

  1. Download the ZeeMee app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Create your profile
  3. Search for Rochester Institute of Technology or RIT and join our official Undergraduate or Graduate communities.

No, you can apply to RIT without joining ZeeMee.

ZeeMee has a specialized Roommate Matching tool. You can take a roommate quiz, filter by lifestyle preferences (like sleep schedules or cleanliness), and chat with potential matches.

These are current RIT students who are on the app to answer questions about everything RIT. Look for them in the "Ask a Current Student" channel.

Yes! We have an "Ask an Admissions Counselor" channel specifically for official questions about deadlines, financial aid, and application status. It’s a great place to see questions other students are asking, too.

No, RIT does not take into consideration if you are a part of our ZeeMee community in our admission decision.

Absolutely! RIT has a very active international student presence on ZeeMee. You can connect with other international Tigers to discuss visas, travel, and adjusting to life in Rochester.
