The countdown to Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival has begun! Are you ready to explore? Are you ready to experience the unexpected and extraordinary on Saturday?

This Creativity and Innovation Festival is a campus-wide event that showcases the creative and innovative spirit of RIT students, faculty, and staff. Imagine RIT runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Use our Imagine RIT map to view exhibits, add them to your itinerary, and navigate around campus. The best place to start after parking is finding a welcome center. The volunteers at our info booths are also a great resource!

The FabLab is hiring for the fall semester of 2024-2025. 

Job Description:

FabLab Technicians are trained to operate all FabLab equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, various specialized software packages, and the FabLab's Service Desk, generating quotes for and responding to customers.

Each FabLab Technician is expected to advise students, professors, or any RIT affiliate interested in using the FabLab on the best materials and processes to complete a project. This includes what materials will work best, how to improve a design to print better, or how to post-process models to enhance the overall finish.
