RIT’s Supply Chain Management Club, facilitated a site visit to the Rochester office of QuidelOrtho,
a medical device and testing kit manufacturer, on Thursday, February 27th.

‘83 (MBA), with Jessica Drachler,
of Allied Financial Services
conducted an interactive tax session with members of Next Generation of Accountants
on Wednesday, February 19th. The session focused on tax planning, using specialized accounting software to show how different life events, such as marriage, children, or rental real estate losses, affected the taxes owed or refunded for both federal and state.
- Jancy Nightingale-Burch,
assistant director of marketing at Saunders College of Business, Dhwani Doshi ‘25 (business analytics), and Jen Spencer ‘23 (Executive MBA) placed third in a case competition on health equity challenges at the 21st Annual Columbia Business School Healthcare Conference
on Feb. 7 in New York. Their team presented a solution to address the primary care gap and quantified the potential return on investment.

‘24 (hospitality and tourism management) took over the Commons pasta station each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month of February. On their respective dates, the students served Egyptian Koshary (Amal), Stir Fried Rice Cakes (Anika), Birria Tacos (Jenna), and Hispanic Pupusas (Pablo).

- Saunders College of Business was pleased to host the 15th Annual Power Your Potential Women's Conference
on Friday, February 28, 2025. This year, our event was focused on Navigating Adversity with Resilience. The 2025 Power Your Potential keynote presenter is Eva Ames,
who is a passionate about building a future where supply chain and logistics are enablers for new mobility offerings and decarbonized transportation. She currently serves as Vice President of Global Key Accounts for the Automotive & Mobility Enterprise Vertical at DSV, Eva uses her diverse background and over 15 years of experience as a former automotive design engineer and US Federal regulator to challenge “the way things have always been done” for clients producing everything from micro mobility scooters to batteries, passenger cars, and heavy equipment.
- The Women's Leadership Summit (WLS),
hosted by the Leadership Academy at Saunders, successfully concluded its RIT event focused on "Inclusion and Empowerment." The summit continued its mission of inspiring, connecting, and educating women and allies to become tomorrow's leaders across all industries, from arts and sciences to technology. This year's theme emphasized how inclusive cultures unlock potential, drive creativity, and enhance performance while fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and equipped to lead.
