  • Danny Le ’23 (finance and management information systems), a management rotation program associate at Capital One, spoke to Saunders students about his post-RIT journey as well as Capital One’s Management Internship Program (which he completed as a co-op) and their Management Rotation Program, on November 2, 2023. Learn more about his co-op experience.

  • Muhammet Kesgin, Ph.D., associate professor of international hospitality and service innovation, co-authored an article, “Gastro-tourism well-being: the interplays of salient and enduring determinants, ” published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management.

  • Tony Sampognaro ’98 (biochemistry), MS ’00 (chemistry), ’23 (EMBA) was interviewed for an article, “Outsourcing Needs More MBAs (Yes, You Read That Correctly), ” in Outsourced Pharma.
  • J’nez Thomas ’20 (EMBA) was first runner-up at the 2023 Ms. Veteran America competition at Caribe Royale Orlando, Orlando, FL. Ms. Veteran America is a “movement encouraging women veterans to uplift each other and find their tribe" beyond the uniform.

  • Johnny “Cupcakes” Earle, founder of the world-renowned T-shirt brand Johnny Cupcakes—widely recognized for inspiring cult-like brand loyalty, including mile-long store queues and even permanent tattoos—delivered the annual Gasser Lecture Series in Ingle Auditorium.
  • Saunders received several prestigious recognitions from TopUniversities.com QS Business Master’s Rankings 2024 and Global MBA Rankings 2024 for several master's programs.
  • The U.S. House of Representatives honored Saunders College of Business alumnus Kamalakar “Kam” Shenai ’89 MBA (marketing) as a distinguished leader in Central Florida during Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month in May.
  • Saunders College of Business faculty, alumni, and students—together with local business leaders—have recognized a popular, longtime professor with the dedication of a multifunctional space inside Max Lowenthal Hall. The Daniel D. Tessoni Business Center honors the esteemed RIT faculty member who served in several roles at the college from 1974 until his retirement last year.
