Students were eager to sign the steel beam and leave their mark
on RIT and Saunders for years to come. RIT President David Munson
and Saunders namesake, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Phil Saunders
were both in attendance and gave remarks.
Students are excited to see and utilize the new resources, which are anticipated to be completed at the end of 2023. The newly expanded building will give students more applied learning and collaboration spaces, including student team rooms, a state-of-the-art auditorium, a cafe, and research collaboratories.
